Vermont Country Style

Come to The Sugar House for the true Vermont experience. This 1796 post and beam cottage was originally built for maple sugaring. It was converted to a charming guest house in the 1970's. Built without any nails, the hand hewn beams and soaring cathedral ceiling give a warm cozy feeling. Escape here to our luxury featherbed with fine linens. Enjoy feeding the fish in the pond or sitting on your own private patio. This cottage has a full kitchen, sitting area, fireplace, loft that sleeps two additional people. The kitchen is stocked with coffee, tea, water, juice and milk. A cheese and fruit platter will greet you upon arrival. At 8:00 am freshly baked muffins are delivered to your door with the newspaper. The charming brick fireplace warms you during those cold Vermont winters. The fireplace is available to have roaring on your arrival, upon your request. The cottage is heated for winter and air conditioned in the summer, with satellite tv and wireless hi-speed internet connection.
